Creating and managing posts and pages

In WordPress, posts and pages work almost the same way.

  • Pages are usually permanent, while posts are often point-in-time items or updates, like a blog or news article.
  • The URL structures area little different.

Create a new post or page

Click the “New” item in the admin menu bar at the very top, and then click what you want to create.

Edit a post or page

When you’re logged in to your site and are viewing a page, you should have a black menu bar across the very top.

To edit the page you’re currently viewing, click the pencil icon with the “Edit…” label.
